My grandmother was from China, making me a second-generation American on that side of my family. I am deeply proud of my Chinese, Hawaiian, and Italian heritage. This necklace and these photographs are more than keepsakes—they are lasting tributes to my mother's life, my family's story, and the cultures that have shaped who I am.

Jasmine Capriotti was born in Maui, Hawaii, and moved to Sonoma County as a child. Inspired by her artist father, she has created art since childhood and found her artistic voice at Alchemia. Jasmine enjoys paper arts, painting, dance, and theater, creating expressive work inspired by her feelings and imagination. She hopes to explore ceramics and someday become a DJ.
